Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons TiC Edition is an exploration- and combat-focused adventure pack that builds on the original pack while replacing its tools and armor with Tinkers’ Construct equipment. Explore dungeons, surface ruins, mazes, and traps, follow quests for challenges and coin rewards, and face mobs that grow stronger as your character and gear improve. Journeys extend into dimensions including the Twilight Forest, the Aether, the Betweenlands, the Beneath, Cavern II, Atum, and Tropicraft, each offering new landscapes, creatures, and adventures; the Twilight Forest includes bosses such as the Lich, Hydra, and Naga. In the Aether, airships help with exploration, while the Betweenlands brings dangerous swamps, distinctive mobs and bosses, and new mechanics, blocks, and items. Tinkers’ Construct lets you make tools and weapons from patterned parts using materials such as cactus, paper, and obsidian, whose different properties affect the finished equipment. The equipment range includes mining hammers that clear a 3-by-3 area, mattocks that combine axe, shovel, and hoe functions, and customizable bows and arrows; Construct’s Armory also makes armor customizable by material and part. Using tools earns experience and can unlock modifiers, and later you can replace parts to improve a tool’s mining level; materials from dimensions such as the Twilight Forest, Aether, and Betweenlands provide further options. The pack also includes spell-based wizardry, tameable ice and fire dragons, and a range of additional creatures, including peaceful chameleons and more dangerous mobs.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 17 Dec 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 20 Sep 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 205 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 204 of its 205 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (17 Dec 2021) in the 97 mods we checked.
11 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
108 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
