    About

    Smooth Skies improves sky and fog rendering, especially at high render distances, by smoothing the transition between fog and sky colors and allowing the fog distance and height to be adjusted to avoid a hard cutoff. It also fixes skybox clipping that can create holes at low render distances, and adjusts void darkness so it appears near the world's lowest Y level rather than at a fixed height, addressing black void effects in areas such as sea-level terrain and skyblock worlds. Optional features can remove fog color for a uniformly colored sky or stop rendering the sky below the minimum build height.
