    About

    Stardew Fishing replaces instant, right-click catches with a Stardew Valley-inspired minigame: click to raise a green bobber bar, keep it over the moving fish to build progress, and fill the meter to land the catch. Accurate play can increase fishing experience, and with Quality Food installed, the fish’s quality reflects your bobber accuracy. A customizable datapack lets players tune fish movement and difficulty, including settings such as speed, acceleration, and movement distance, while datapack authors can also define buffs or debuffs for rods and bobbers. Fishing can yield rare treasure chests and even rarer golden chests; hook a chest during the minigame and land the fish to open it for loot. With Aquaculture or Tide installed, players can attach bobbers to rods for distinct effects: the Cork Bobber enlarges the fishing bar, the Trap Bobber slows fish escape, the Sonar Bobber reveals the fish, the Treasure Bobber helps secure chests and improves their appearance chance, and the Quality Bobber boosts experience and, with Quality Food, fish quality. The mod also adds ten biome-specific legendary fish and a Fish Display block for showing prized catches.
