    About

    Thermoo is a developer library for connecting Minecraft mods and datapacks that use temperature and environmental conditions, including Frostiful and Scorchful; on its own, it adds no gameplay or visual effects. Its shared framework covers temperature and wetness or soaking, supports temperature values without tying them to a particular unit, and provides data-driven temperature effects and integration with seasons mods. Datapack authors can define environments for selected biomes and use providers that set or adjust environmental values according to conditions such as seasons, weather, light, temperature, or altitude. The API also offers temperature and soaking checks for loot conditions, commands for inspecting temperature and environments, and utilities for modders such as item-attribute events and a status-bar overlay API. Thermoo is intended for use by both Java and Kotlin mods and by datapacks through commands and registries, with compatibility across Thermoo-based mods built into the shared framework.
