Adds rats to Minecraft: smart, versatile and adorable pets.

Rat’s Mischief adds tameable, pettable rats that appear in previously inhabited villages that have become abandoned, where they wander and can join the player as companions. Rats follow and defend their owner, fetch dropped items, and can be picked up, carried in Rat Pouches, or thrown at mobs to attack; breeding can produce fancier colors. The Rat Master Ocarina lets players direct rats to harvest and replant crops, mine and collect a chosen block type, attack hostile creatures, or breed animals using the item they carry, and can also toggle their dropped-item fetching. Breeding two rats that carry the same potion effect can produce a Plague Rat, which passes that effect to entities it attacks, making it useful for either offensive or supportive tactics. Players can equip a rat as a Spy Rat and control it remotely with the Rat Master Mirror. Rat Pouches carry groups of rats, with capacities of 5 for Leather, 10 for Twisted, 15 for Purpur, and 20 for Rat Master pouches. Rat Master gear supports a rat-focused playstyle: armor pieces can grant rat damage resistance, attack damage, or mining speed, while the full armor set and Rat Master Mask prevent players from hurting their own rats. Rat Master armor and masks use Clothed Ingots found in Ancient City loot chests, and cursed gear can cause its wearer to transform into a rat and flee when near death. Some named rats have distinctive appearances, including Rat Kid, doctor4t, astronyu, Remy, Ratater, Jerma, and Biggie Cheese; Rat Kid’s outfit can also be changed with dyes.

No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.2.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16 to 1.19.2.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images, sounds and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.

These projects do not work together with RAT's Mischief: their authors or RAT's Mischief's author say so. If you install both, the game can crash or some features can stop working. Some of them do the same job as RAT's Mischief, so you only need one.
