A Brazilian survival modpack brought back with new places to explore.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 110 graded mods, 74 are graded A or B, 22 C and 14 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
A Era do Futuro 2022 is a modernized port of a well-known Brazilian Minecraft modpack, aiming to preserve the original pack’s idea and feel with a refreshed selection of mods. It expands exploration with biomes from Biomes O’ Plenty, Oh The Biomes You’ll Go, and Traverse, alongside dungeons and structures from Dungeon Crawl, Dungeons Enhanced, Valhelsia Structures, Repurposed Structures, YUNG’s Better Dungeons and Better Strongholds, and The Graveyard. Additional destinations include The Twilight Forest, Atum 2: Return to the Sands, and Beyond Earth. For building and crafting, the pack includes ’Dustrial Decor, Builders Crafts & Additions, Chipped, Tinkers’ Construct, and Building Gadgets, while Artifacts adds exploration-focused items. Alex’s Mobs, Mutant Beasts, and Mutant More add creatures, and the technology options include Mekanism, Thermal Series, RFTools, Applied Energistics 2, XNet, Flux Networks, and Ranged Pumps. Utility and storage additions include Iron Chests, Storage Drawers, Sophisticated Backpacks, Ender Storage, Pipez, Waystones, Comforts, and Enchanting Infuser, with JEI, FTB Chunks, and The One Probe among its play-support tools. The pack also offers a server-friendly variant with some mods removed for server and client optimization.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 6 Feb 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 6 Feb 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 112 mods and the files in the pack itself.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 112 of its mods.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (6 Feb 2022) in the 91 mods we checked.
8 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
21 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
