Cobblemon Generations is a ready-to-play Forge modpack that bundles Cobblemon, the Generations additions, and performance optimizations to bring a Pokémon-focused adventure to Minecraft. Generations expands Cobblemon with high-definition, animated Pokémon models spanning the full Pokédex from Kanto through Paldea, rendered with its custom RareCandy engine. Explore worlds with more than 50 naturally generating structures, including legendary shrines that can be looted, used as homes, or explored for summoning quests. Legendary encounters mix natural spawns with quests involving shrine offerings and special items; examples include fishing with a Ruby Rod, finding Enigma Fragments, and assembling a Prison Bottle with Hoopa Rings to summon more than 60 Legendary and Mythical Pokémon. The pack also adds thousands of blocks and items, from Castle, Chargestone Cave, and Pokémon Center building blocks to held items, map-making props, and other Pokémon-themed gear. Its soundtrack includes 33 Pokémon remixes by GlitchxCity, with ambient music for exploration and dynamic tracks for battles. Terralith and Biomes o’ Plenty broaden the landscapes to explore, while Cobblemon contributes features such as its Pokémon Showdown battle system and apricorn trees.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge, 30 Mar 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 5 Mar 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 61 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
3 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 51 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 51 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files, images and code history yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
