Cobblemon SMP is a Pokémon-focused Minecraft modpack for catching, training, and battling Pokémon from Generations 1 through 9, with performance and quality-of-life mods configured for solo, LAN, or multiplayer play. It provides one-click access to the Complex Cobblemon server, where players can choose a starter, earn badges through all 18 type-themed gyms, and challenge the Battle Tower, Battle Cafe, and Elite Four. On the server, legendary Pokémon spawn in the wild for everyone, and players can ride Pokémon, clear team dungeons for coins and exclusive rewards, and enter automated tournaments that run every four hours. Progression also includes earning money through jobs, contracts, hunts, bingo, the Battle Tower, and Battle Cafe, trading Pokémon through the GTS, climbing the ranked ladder, and completing clan missions or Pokédex goals to unlock Dex Ranks.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.21.1 · Fabric, 18 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 17 Jun 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked all 70 projects, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 68 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 66 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
