Corsair: The Seven Treasures is a pirate-adventure modpack about exploring the world of Corsair to find seven legendary treasures. Its custom world, built with an OTG preset, features ships to board, fight aboard, and trade with, while players can craft a vessel and build a home base between expeditions. Treasure hunts involve deciphering maps, solving puzzles, finding keys, avoiding traps, and uncovering buried caches and secret maps; some discoveries can even summon a Wesley’s Roguelike Dungeon. Loot tables offer more than a thousand possible items, with chests and loot bags providing unpredictable finds. The seas and other places hold dangerous foes, including pirates, undead, sea serpents, and dragons, alongside creatures from Ice and Fire, Apotheosis, and Alex’s Mobs that players may fight or befriend. Villager trading lets players turn their gains into supplies such as weapons, maps, and ammunition, while ranged options include Matchlock Gun pistols, rifles, muskets, and revolvers. For close combat, Spartan Weaponry adds rapiers, maces, longswords, and battleaxes, and treasure hunts may also uncover legendary weapons. A ProjectMMO-based leveling system develops abilities such as endurance, agility, combat, archery, and magic; eating a varied diet and finding heart pots can also increase health.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16 · Forge, 10 Dec 2022). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 11 Mar 2022 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 104 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
2 mods send something about you
We read the code of 103 of its 104 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (10 Dec 2022) in the 77 mods we checked.
2 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
27 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
