A tough survival pack with long goals and dangerous monsters.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 97 graded mods, 25 are graded A or B, 11 C and 61 D to F. Its last update came out 7 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.7.10. See the mods
Fire In The Pipe 2 is a long-term, high-difficulty tech and survival modpack centered mainly on GregTech, with extensive recipe changes and HQM challenges that guide players toward long-term goals rather than providing a complete walkthrough. Survival is made tougher by hostile monster AI, disabled health regeneration, and a weight system, while new dimensions add further exploration. Progression is deliberately slow: major milestones include building a Star Gate, Fusion Reactor, and spaceship, and even small tasks can demand hours of work.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.7.10 · Forge, 7 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
8 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 19 Jul 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
A Warning in 1 project
We checked 98 of its 99 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
A Warning is not proof of malware.
Wrong result? Tell us.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of 94 of its 95 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 34 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
61 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
