Minecraft: Trailer Edition is a curated modpack for giving Minecraft a cinematic look and atmosphere inspired by the official game trailers. It combines shaders and visual enhancements, immersive audio, improved animations, performance optimizations, and gameplay changes with vanilla-plus world generation, including vanilla-friendly structures and biomes without adding new blocks. Combat changes include animated improvements and Combat Roll, which lets players dodge attacks in a Souls-like style; the pack notes that Combat Roll can be removed if it does not suit the desired experience.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric, 21 Aug 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 133 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 118 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 17 of the 118 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
