About
MineDave Plants & Zombies is a Plants vs. Zombies-inspired modpack that combines plant collecting, base defense, survival, and exploration, with quests and quality-of-life features around the core gameplay. Players explore biomes to find plants such as Peashooters, Sunflowers, Wall-Nuts, Cacti, Chompers, and Shrooms; wild plants can be tamed with Sun and turned into seed packets, while Zen Pots and some zombie drops provide other ways to obtain seeds. Plants have distinct roles, including generating Sun, attacking zombies, or serving as defenses, so placement and resource use shape how players hold their ground. Custom zombies spawn continually, ranging from common Browncoats and armored Coneheads and Bucketheads to fast Imps, Digger Zombies, Disco Zombies, and powerful Gargantuars, each bringing different threats and behaviors. The modpack also includes daily quests and rewards, land claims and party features, a starter kit, Xaero’s minimap and world map, and Terralith world generation. It is designed for singleplayer, with an option to play on the MineDave server, where additional features include roughly five new plants, plants that regrow near players, Lootr chest integration, and Crazy Dave’s rotating Sun-for-Sun offers.
