A Vanilla+ pack with helpful tweaks and subtle visual touches.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 131 graded mods, 131 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 2 weeks ago, for Minecraft 26.2. See the mods
Simply Crafted is a Vanilla+ modpack that aims to polish familiar Minecraft gameplay with quality-of-life features and visual enhancements, without changing its core gameplay. For inventory and crafting, Mouse Tweaks adds mouse-based inventory functions, while Visual Workbench keeps items inside the crafting interface. Xaero's World Map provides a full-screen map showing explored areas and builds. Visual and atmospheric additions include custom Complementary Unbound shader settings, water splashes and cave dust from Particular, enhanced explosion effects, and three-dimensional ladders and rails. Particle Rain and Immersive Thunder change rain and snow effects and add desert snowstorms, while Sound Physics adds echoes to exploration. The pack also highlights mob animations, fresh sound effects, immersive weather, subtle particles, and performance improvements.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.2 · Fabric, 10 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 131 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
10 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 119 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 10 of the 119 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
