A sandbox pack for building industrial, magical, or entirely different worlds.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 37 graded mods, 28 are graded A or B, 8 C and 1 D to F. Its last update came out 2.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.16.5. See the mods
Technical Electrical Cosmic Chaos is a sandbox modpack built around letting players shape their own experience, whether they want to industrialize a world, build a magic-focused world, explore a different world, or destroy what is there. Its selected mods include Mekanism, Cyberware, Portality, and Galacticraft-Legacy, supporting a mix of technological and other play styles without adding mods merely for the sake of it. The pack also includes access to a public SMP server.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 21 Jul 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 Jul 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 39 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 39 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 4 of the 39 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
