About
FTB Library is a shared foundation for Feed The Beast mods, providing common code and utilities, including a component- and layer-based system for building their interfaces. Its configuration tools use SNBT, a string-based format for storing mod data, and provide a common way for FTB mods to create and manage settings. A configurable inventory-screen sidebar can show dynamic shortcut buttons that run commands, open interfaces, or open URLs; other mods can contribute buttons through JSON assets. The /ftblibrary nbtedit command opens a graphical editor for NBT data belonging to blocks, entities, items, or players. Additional utility commands can toggle rain, set the time to day or night, switch between creative and survival, and open client configuration.
