A collection of client-side mods to improve vanilla singleplayer and servers.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 48 graded mods, 45 are graded A or B, 3 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 3.1 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.4. See the mods
Useful Client Side Mods is a client-side modpack of vanilla-friendly quality-of-life tools for single-player worlds and multiplayer servers. It adds interface and information features including armour and tool durability displays, food-saturation information, configurable chat options, a menu for viewing installed mods, and searchable key bindings. For crafting and gameplay, Roughly Enough Items provides recipe search, while Far Sight can let clients render distant terrain when the server's own distance setting is lower. Building tools include Litematica for saving and transferring build schematics between worlds, with block outlines to guide construction, as well as Tweakeroo for block rotation, offsets, and more precise placement. The collection also includes client-side note-block sound adjustments intended to prevent unwanted sounds and reduce lag, performance improvements, WorldEdit, and Xaero's Minimap and World Map.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Fabric, 20 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
4 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked all 49 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 49 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 5 of the 46 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
3 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
