WildHalla is an adventure, exploration, and survival modpack built around a more varied world and a challenging journey through Minecraft’s dimensions. Its world generation adds biomes and natural features such as the Overworld’s Zelkova Forest, the Nether’s Shroomlight Forest, and the End’s Chorus Forest. Exploration includes Tower of the Wild structures in deep oceans, with Waystones at their summits, abandoned fortresses, the Nether’s Land of Sythian Torrids and Weeping Mires, and End locations such as the Far End Amber Lands and Foggy Mushroomlands. Combat is overhauled with weapon-specific attack animations and movement, including dodging and rolling, while hostile mobs such as spiders, giants, and Endermen also have updated fighting animations. Your maximum health can rise or fall according to how you play, and reaching the End and facing the Dragon are presented as more involved challenges. Dogs can be trained for different tasks, including combat, and a dog trained to a high level can defeat low-level hostile mobs in one hit. A diet system responds to what you eat: balancing fruit, grains, proteins, vegetables, and sugars can affect you positively or negatively. Biome-dependent ambient audio adds environmental cues, from jungle birdsong to sounds of crocodiles in swamps. The included Create mod supports machinery such as windmills, automatic farms, and water turbines.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.16.5 · Forge, 21 Apr 2021). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 12 Apr 2021 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 227 of its 229 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
8 mods send something about you
We read the code of 226 of its 228 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 16 of the 178 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
50 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
