A swampy new Bayou biome.
29 of the 64 points that apply = 45 out of 100.
Bayou Blues adds the rare Bayou biome, inspired by the swamps of Florida, with cypress trees, algae, beard moss, gooseberries, giant ferns, and lily flowers growing on lily pads. Cypress trees grow in both 1×1 and 2×2 forms and provide a complete woodset; cypress knees grow nearby and yield logs when broken, but falling on them doubles fall damage. Beard moss slowly grows down cypress trees and can be bonemealed, while algae grows in waterside patches and can also be bonemealed; the algae can be crafted into algae thatch for building. Gooseberries grow on cypress branches and can be made into juice, jam, pie, cookies, or honey-glazed treats. Lily flowers appear on lily pads in the Bayou and vanilla swamps, and bonemealing a lily pad produces a random variety. With Quark, the project adds cypress woodset compatibility, an algae-thatch vertical slab, and gooseberry sacks; Buzzier Bees adds a cypress beehive, while Environmental adds Bayou slabfish and lily flowers in Blossom Woods.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 57 blocks, 7 items, 2 biomes and 78 recipes.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.16.4 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
