About
Carpet-Fixes is a Carpet extension that aims to correct vanilla Minecraft bugs through more than 220 fixes, primarily affecting server-side behavior in singleplayer and multiplayer. Its configurable fixes cover redstone and block updates, including hopper, observer, comparator, rail, and piston behavior, as well as entity movement issues such as mobs getting stuck on slime blocks or in bubble columns. Other examples address mob and item behavior, such as Endermen taking explosion damage, drowned throwing enchanted tridents correctly, bees and allays getting stuck in the void, and named blocks stacking despite repair-cost data. The fixes also cover portals and world boundaries, from allowing TNT and falling blocks to pass through Nether portals to preventing block placement, piston pushes, and explosions from bypassing the world border. Most listed settings are individual boolean rules, so server operators can choose which fixes to enable; a small number of client-side fixes require Carpet-Fixes to be present on the server.
