    About

    Construct's Casting connects Tinkers' Construct toolmaking and progression with Iron's Spells 'n' Spellbooks through new recipes, materials, tools, modifiers, and two spells. Its craftable Wand, Battlestaff, Traveler's Spellbook, and Plated Spellbook have distinct stats, including spell power and cooldown reduction, shaped by material choices and their spellcasting traits; the loot-only Flamberge is a heavy sword that offers both high attack damage and armor while held. Materials include Arcanium for greater mana capacity, Mithril for mana regeneration, Arcane Cloth for spell power, Exilite for spell resistance and extra damage to magic-wielding enemies, and Pyrium for fiery explosions. Modifiers let staffs cast spells on right-click, imbue tools with a spell, or trigger spells when striking enemies; other upgrades boost elemental spell power, while Ringbearer grants two additional Curios ring slots. The expanded crafting and smelting recipes cover ink production and upgrading, processing Arcane Metal, Mithril, and Pyrium, melting certain spellbook mobs such as Tyros and The First Flamebearer, and making Magic Essences that can be cast into runes or consumed for temporary buffs. The two added spells serve practical purposes: Invert temporarily reverses gravity for ceiling travel, and Freeze instantly cools Casting Tables and Basins to speed tool crafting.
