About
DashLoader speeds up Minecraft startup by caching assets the game would otherwise load, then restoring that cache on subsequent launches. The initial launch, and launches after a configuration change without an existing cache, take longer while DashLoader builds the cache; assets it cannot cache are loaded through Minecraft’s normal system instead. Its cache covers shaders and server packs as well as other assets, and DashLoader can switch resource packs without disrupting textures. A customizable caching screen shows progress, while configuration options let users tailor the screen or disable parts of DashLoader. DashLoader also provides loading-time reports and a profiling system with detailed statistics.
