Helping mobs see in the distance.

Farsighted Mobs makes hostile mobs more likely to pursue players by increasing their follow range; its default rules set the range to at least 24 blocks, add 8 blocks on hard difficulty, and adjust it slightly according to local difficulty. Its datapack-based rule system evaluates conditions when a mob spawns and applies matching changes to its attributes, so existing mobs are unaffected by later rule or configuration changes. Rules can target entity types and conditions such as world difficulty, local difficulty, moon phase, weather, or a nearby player's advancement progress, and can change attributes including follow range, health, and size. For example, custom rules can make creepers spawned in rain larger and tougher, or give drowned spawned in swamps faster movement. The mod is server-sided, and its rules are configured through datapacks, allowing modpack creators to tailor mob behavior without requiring clients to install it.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes the game's code in 1 area: Mobs and their behaviorChanges 2 game code files in this area: mobs, animals, villagers, projectiles and how they move and act..
Adds no new blocks, items or other content.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
