About
Moar Boats expands water transport with larger animal-carrying boats, utility boats that retain the function of supported blocks, and modular boats that can be outfitted for cargo, navigation, automation, and other tasks. Utility boats can carry blocks such as chests, furnaces, crafting tables, looms, cartography tables, grindstones, stonecutters, jukeboxes, and shulker boxes, while linked boats can form a train that follows a single lead boat. Modules include hopper-accessible chest storage, automatic fishing, seats and rudders, paddles, ice breaking, an anchor that sets a spawn point, diving support, fluid and energy tanks, chunk loading, and dispenser or dropper functions that can place or eject items and blocks. Engine modules let a modular boat travel straight using sunlight or fuel, with speed adjustment and redstone control; a sonar module can try to follow rivers, while the helm uses a map to plot a route for autonomous travel. Routes can be saved on maps with paths or linked golden tickets, and the Mapping Table provides waypoint editing, including adding, removing, reordering, or entering coordinates; JourneyMap waypoints can also be suggested when that mod is present. The mod also supports embedding an OpenComputers computer in a modular boat and integrating with redstone conductors for boat controls.
