Modular Golems is a modular crafting and upgrade mod for building customizable metal companions, guards, and fighters from parts made of different materials. It offers metal golems, humanoid golems, and fast, wolf-like dog golems; humanoid golems can wield melee and ranged weapons, wear armor, block with shields, and ride horses or dog golems, while players can ride dog golems. The mod lists 55 materials, combining vanilla metals such as copper, iron, gold, netherite, and sculk with materials from integrations including Twilight Forest, Create, Botania, Cataclysm, Tinkers’ Construct, Ice and Fire, and Goety. Material choices give golems distinct traits: copper golems heal when struck by lightning, Railway golems move quickly and attack with area knockback, Brimsteel golems shoot fireballs, and Magnetic golems pull or repel enemies while consuming iron to heal and gain absorption. To build one, players cut a template into parts with a stonecutter, apply metals to the parts in an anvil, and assemble them in a crafting table; mixing materials across parts lets players balance qualities such as toughness, speed, and repair cost. Upgrades add further capabilities or defenses, including regeneration, stronger armor, swimming, fire immunity, projectile protection, and enemy detection through walls; the number of upgrade slots depends on the golem type. Humanoid golems can use bows and crossbows, tridents, and other equipment, but their weapons and armor lose durability through use. Players can summon and retrieve golems, configure their behavior and target lists, record patrol routes, and filter which items golems pick up when equipped with the relevant upgrade. Create integration supports applying metals and upgrades with machinery and automating golem production, while materials and upgrades from supported mods add further specialized options.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
modulargolems-3.1.11.jar, CurseForge modulargolems-3.1.11.jar. 1 class changed, in dev.xkmc.modulargolems.init.data: MGTagGen.We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
