    About

    Radical Cobblemon Trainers API is an independent library for managing Cobblemon trainers and battles, developed as a foundation for the Radical Cobblemon Trainers mod. It provides a trainer registry that associates trainers with entities, supports formats such as 1v1 singles, 1v1 doubles, and 2v2 multi battles, and lets projects define battle rules such as limits on item use. Trainers can carry and use items, and the API includes parsed trainer and Pokémon data models, converters to Cobblemon types, and validation that gathers model errors before raising an exception. Its battle AI features include move selection and switching, while additional AI support is currently provided by RCTBattleAI; supported battle gimmicks include Mega Evolution, Dynamax, Z-Moves, and Terastallization, with some requiring another mod to supply them.
