About
Serene Seasons Plus extends Serene Seasons with seasonal day-and-night timing and more responsive, realistic snow and ice behavior. Daylight and darkness shift with the current season, bringing longer days in summer and longer nights in winter; an optional setting can keep a complete day-night cycle at a chosen real-time length without tying it to the computer’s clock. During snowfall, snow accumulates progressively, with the mod tracking snow depth by area and supporting cloud-driven placement through Project Atmosphere so snow can fall where clouds produce it. Snow can build on leaf canopies as well as the ground, and melting removes layers progressively while taking biome temperature and winter conditions into account; ice is also handled by the snow-processing system. Integration with Better Days adjusts day and night lengths across the seasons and supports its sleep cycles, while the Canadian seasons preset aligns seasonal timing with average Montreal-area climate data.
