    Better Days lets you tailor how quickly Minecraft time passes, extending or shortening the day-night cycle and setting daytime and nighttime speeds independently. You can set durations directly in real-world minutes, make each day last 24 hours, or use smooth time-speed transitions to shape periods such as sunrise and sunset. Optionally, the mod changes sleeping into a gradual transition to morning by speeding up time while players are in bed; in multiplayer, the speed responds to the share of players sleeping, so even some players sleeping can advance the night without a sleep-vote threshold. Optional time effects can make processes such as crop and grass growth, weather, potion effects, hunger, furnaces, hoppers, and other block entities progress in step with the configured time speed. Season-aware timing can adjust day and night length according to the season when a compatible seasons mod is present.
