About
SIHYWTCAMD is a configurable hostile-mob overhaul designed to make Minecraft more difficult, with changes ranging from new behaviors and combat effects to altered spawning and stronger enemies; some ideas draw on Bedrock Edition. Across the world, hostile mobs generally follow targets farther and most become hostile to villagers, while skeletons can use spectral or freezing arrows, zombies gain reinforcement-calling and specialized attribute variants, and pillagers can launch into the air with firework rockets. Other encounters gain distinctive hazards: creeper blasts inflict Mining Fatigue and Weakness, Endermen can cause blindness, Endermites can teleport targets, and magma cubes set victims on fire when they collide. The changes also affect where and how mobs appear: cave spiders can spawn naturally underground, guardians can appear in oceans, illusioners can appear in mansions, and zombie-horse traps can arrive during thunderstorms. Boss fights are changed as well: destroying an Ender Crystal during the dragon fight can bring in a Phantom, crystals can return as the dragon loses health, and the Wither can summon wither skeletons, explode at half health, and keep the weather stormy until it dies. Most changes can be enabled or disabled through configuration, and the main mod was split from SIHYWTCAMD Extensions so the core can run server-side, with both offering the fuller feature set when players can use mods.
