    About

    Simple Planes adds four flyable aircraft: a fast, fuel-efficient single-seat small plane; a large plane that carries two players and can drop payloads; a cargo plane for multiple players and large upgrades; and a more precisely maneuverable helicopter. Aircraft need an engine to fly, with options powered by solid fuel, liquid fuels such as lava or immersive petroleum fuels, or Forge Energy/Redstone Flux. You can customize aircraft with upgrades including water floats, throttle boosters, enchantable armor, a folding upgrade that returns the aircraft to your inventory when you leave it, extra seats, a shooter for arrows, fire charges, and CGM ammo, and decorative banners. Planes can also use solar panels to charge electric engines, while large planes and helicopters can carry chests or jukeboxes and drop supply crates or TNT during flight. Aircraft can be crafted from different wood types, including modded woods, and nether planks make them fireproof.
