    About

    Stendhal is a client-side Fabric mod that improves the interfaces for books, signs, anvils, and chat with visual editing tools and quick access to Unicode characters. In writable books, you can copy, paste, or clear page content and whole books, add or remove pages, apply formatting and legacy colors, and track each page’s character count against the vanilla limit. The book interface also supports importing and exporting books, while signed books can be browsed by page index, searched, and exported for reuse in a Book & Quill. For signs, Stendhal provides Unicode character selection, one-click clearing, and tools to copy and paste whole signs or import and export them. Its chat bar makes Unicode characters easy to insert into messages, and anvil utilities let you use them in customized item names and nametags. The changes use vanilla features, so other players can see the resulting books and signs even if they do not have the mod installed.
