About
The Farlanders expands the Overworld with a species descended from the people of the vanished Far Lands, now settled in villages and adapted into a range of related creatures. Farlanders live in houses and villages, usually in plains, and can be traded with using Endumium Crystals, a rare ore found deep underground in biomes including swamps, mountains, and jungles. Village life has its dangers: Farlanders usually emerge at night and call on Ender Guardians and Ender Golems for protection, while hostile Looters steal a weapon when attacked and Rebels poison their targets. Elder Farlanders offer rarer trades, and travelling Wanderers trade goods from around the world, disguise themselves with carved pumpkins to evade village protectors, and may request emeralds or Endumium in their dealings with other traders. Players can tame Enderminions with apples; these companions help in combat, accept weapons and dyed bracelets, and can be healed or temporarily strengthened with apples. Mystic Enderminions wield fireball-casting wands and can trade wands for metals or gems, while Mystic Endermen use magic attacks and drop their wands when defeated. Other Enderman variants include Unstable Endermen, which can pick up a wider range of blocks, and Stalker Endermen, which quietly teleport closer to prey when unseen before attacking. Ender Guardians defend villages with bows and predictive shots, while Ender Golems rely on brute force; disguises such as carved pumpkins or Nightfall armor can fool both. Titans tower over the other Farlanders on obsidian spires, where they can grab, wither, and throw attackers; targeting their exposed hearts deals extra damage, and defeating them can yield hide for Nightfall armor. The mod also includes structures, advancements, and equipment such as the Nightfall Sword, Nightfall armor, and Nightfall Spear, alongside more than a dozen creatures to discover.
