Titles is a vanity mod that lets players earn and display customizable titles alongside their names, most commonly by completing advancements. Its built-in titles cover milestones across Minecraft's Story, Husbandry, Adventure, Nether, and End advancements, with examples such as Miner, Rancher, Globetrotter, Mailman, and Liberator; it also includes advancement-linked titles for Botania, Twilight Forest, and Immersive Engineering. Titles can also be granted by default, unlocked through commands for use with other objectives such as quests, or earned as villager trades for title scrolls, with examples ranging from Brute and Slayer to Apprentice, Squire, and Knight. Players choose an unlocked title in a selection screen, and titles can appear as either a prefix or suffix; they are also shown in the multiplayer player list. The selection screen supports searching by title text, rarity, or mod ID, and gendered variants can be selected where available. Server owners, modpack makers, and mod authors can add, remove, or modify titles using JSON data, allowing titles to be tailored to a pack or linked to other mods and objectives.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Does not change the game's code directly.
Adds 4 items: Title Fragment, Common Title Scroll, Rare Title Scroll and Uncommon Title Scroll; 1 key binding: Open Title Selection Screen; 1 recipe, 8 advancements and 4 loot tables.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends about you
We read its code without running it: it contacts 1 web address while you play.
Like any connection, each address it contacts sees your IP address.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
