A modpack with tech, magic, quests, and space exploration.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 156 graded mods, 62 are graded A or B, 30 C and 64 D to F. Its last update came out 7.3 years ago, for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Boundless: Rebirth is a broad technology and magic modpack designed for enjoyable exploration and building, with most of its grinding focused on creative-tier endgame items and the Angel Ring. Its content combines major tech, magic, storage, and resource-farming systems, including NuclearCraft for power, Advanced Rocketry for space travel, Mystical Agriculture and Chickens for producing resources, and Applied Energistics 2 for storage and crafting. Space exploration features custom planets, a gas giant, ore-focused planets, and asteroids containing ores such as dilithium, rutile, iridium, lithium, magnesium, boron, uranium, thorium, and Certus Quartz. Exploration also includes Biomes O’ Plenty world generation, the Twilight Forest, streams, seasonal changes, dragons, and other Ice and Fire creatures. Ore Excavation and early-game Simple Storage Network ease initial resource gathering and organization, while progression can move toward AE2; FTB Quests provides basic guidance and goals. The pack rebalances recipes and systems, including creative-item crafting, dragon-heart conversion, greenhouse costs, and a more demanding Angel Ring recipe, while adding performance optimizations for world generation and exploration.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 10 Jul 2019). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
2 files not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 5 Jul 2019 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked 160 of its 162 mods and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 160 of its 162 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 83 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
79 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
