A ready-to-play server pack with maps and nearby voice chat.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 38 graded mods, 38 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 11 days ago, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
CastCrafter Survival Server is the official client-side modpack for the CastCrafter Community Server, bundling a preconfigured collection of server-approved mods so players can join without checking and installing them individually. Performance mods including Sodium, Lithium, Moonrise, ImmediatelyFast, and Entity Culling aim to improve frame rates, loading times, and stuttering. For exploring and navigating the survival world, Xaero’s Minimap and World Map provide maps and waypoints, while Zoomify adds zoom and Gamma Utils improves visibility in dark areas. Iris Shaders and the optional Complementary Reimagined shaderpack let players change the game’s visuals, with shaders switchable to suit their preferences and hardware. Simple Voice Chat adds proximity-based communication with nearby players without requiring an external voice-chat program. Quality-of-life additions include Jade for information about viewed blocks and entities, Roughly Enough Items for browsing items and recipes, AppleSkin for hunger and saturation details, and Shulker Box Tooltip for previewing box contents from the inventory. The pack also includes more chat history, incoming-chat animations, faster loading screens, and Crash Assistant for identifying and reporting technical problems.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 14 Oct 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 37 of its 38 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
4 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 37 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 2 of the 37 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
2 other mods show AI use only from after this release (14 Oct 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
