Explore a Pokémon-inspired world with creatures to catch and train.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 248 graded mods, 184 are graded A or B, 48 C and 16 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Cobblemon: Beyond the Pixelverse is a modpack that brings a Pokémon-catching, training, and battling adventure to Minecraft, alongside technology, storage, and crafting mods such as Create, Refined Storage, and Mekanism. Cobblemon adds more than 150 creatures with distinct abilities, animations, and behaviors, while Cobblepedia provides an in-game guide to the available Cobblemon. Questing ranges from guided tasks in FTB Quests to an endgame Singularity questline built around Extended Crafting, with PokeFood adding food from the Cobblemon universe. The pack also includes a tiered coin economy with wallets, banks, ATMs, stores, and auction houses, replacing emerald-based trading. Its atmosphere includes lo-fi Pokémon music in the Overworld and atmospheric music surprises in the Nether and End, plus a custom main menu with direct access to the community Discord. Players can explore solo or on multiplayer servers, with a custom server pack available for community play.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 11 Oct 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 11 Aug 2023 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 256 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 253 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (11 Oct 2023) in the 213 mods we checked.
9 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
40 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
