Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 140 graded mods, 103 are graded A or B, 27 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 4 weeks ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
Doctor Nowhere Adventures turns Minecraft into a tense analog-horror exploration experience inspired by Doctor Nowhere, where players discover unsettling creatures and try to survive them. Its horrors include the Boy and the Bath, a drowned boy who returns as Guilt and watches, taunts, and threatens the player, and Sun Town, a settlement overrun by creatures such as Longboy Bonsai, Jeppy Jothers, and the towering Sunman, who wakes by day and patrols the area. Cave exploration brings ghost players that whisper, make footsteps, and appear under player-like names, while the Boiled One (PHEN-228) hunts with smart AI and can trigger jumpscares and sanity loss as it draws near. The entities have distinct sounds, behaviors, and mechanics, building an atmosphere of constant unease and danger.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 29 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 16 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the projects yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 137 of its 141 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 125 of its 130 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 3 of the 108 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
5 other mods show AI use only from after this release (29 Sep 2026), so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
22 mods are not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
