An expert questing modpack set on a floating island.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 239 graded mods, 87 are graded A or B, 50 C and 102 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.12.2. See the mods
Enigmatica 2 Expert Unofficial Skybound is the skyblock version of an unofficial fork of Enigmatica 2 Expert, updating and replacing mods while adding quality-of-life changes and expanded quests. It replaces Modular Machinery with Multiblocked, converts the existing multiblocks and adds a Creative Tank Replicator; Multiblocked machines allow flexible hatch placement and wall-sharing. For storage and automation, the pack uses AE2 Extended Life with channels disabled, and adds Packaged Extended Crafting, Packaged Astral and AE2 Fluid Crafting Reworked. Other additions include framed drawers with a hand-framing recipe, swimming and crawling mechanics from Aquatic Acrobatics, and Seared Ladders for getting out of smelteries. The expanded questbook adds chapters for AE2 and its packaged-crafting and fluid-crafting addons, plus Multiblocked guidance; other quests have been added or adjusted, with some linking to setup videos.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.12.2 · Forge, 10 Feb 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
Compared with the release of 10 Feb 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its mods
We checked all 249 mods and the files in the pack itself.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 249 of its mods.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (10 Feb 2024) in the 126 mods we checked.
6 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
123 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
