FPS And Utility is a modpack that combines performance optimizations with convenience and visual enhancements for Minecraft. Sodium, Iris, and Lithium target rendering, lighting, and game-logic performance to improve frame rates and reduce lag spikes. For navigation and exploration, Xaero-Minimap provides a live map and waypoints, while WorldMap offers a broader view of explored areas; Bounding Box and Gamma Util are also listed among its utility features. REI provides searchable recipe information, Inventory Tweaks adds sorting and restocking, and Mouse Tweaks streamlines moving and crafting items. Jade shows information about blocks and entities, and AppleSkin displays hunger and saturation values for food. Visual and camera additions include falling leaves, improved hand-bobbing, adjustable camera options, and customizable screenshots. The pack also includes an enhanced attack indicator and Craft Presence, which displays Minecraft activity and achievements in Discord.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.4 · Fabric, 24 Jul 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
5 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 97 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 94 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 7 of the 94 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
