A smoother vanilla game with better performance and helpful extras.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 97 graded mods, 97 are graded A or B, 0 C and none D to F. Its last update came out today, for Minecraft 26.3. See the mods
LunarFox is a client-side modpack for a smoother, more convenient vanilla Minecraft experience, combining performance optimizations, shader support, and survival-assistance utilities without changing vanilla game mechanics. Its performance focus includes improvements aimed at frame rates and chunk generation, while Reflex can help reduce input lag caused by GPU bottlenecks. The pack also adds quality-of-life displays and interface options, including MiniHUD and Inventory HUD+ for viewing armor and tool durability, plus customizable features that are hidden or disabled by default to limit new on-screen clutter. Shader support and connected textures round out its visual options, and the pack can be used to join vanilla servers without requiring a server-side installation.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.3 · Fabric, 30 Sep 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 29 Sep 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. Same mods in both. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 97 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
9 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 90 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 9 of the 90 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
