A medieval role-playing adventure with more realistic visuals and challenges.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 211 graded mods, 161 are graded A or B, 28 C and 22 D to F. Its newest release is for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
SIMPLY: Realistic is a modpack that reshapes Minecraft into a more realistic medieval RPG, combining over 200 mods with adjusted textures, graphics, menus, and interface elements. Its survival and exploration mix includes new structures and settlements, such as additions from Towns and Towers, YUNG’s structure mods, Dungeons and Taverns, and The Lost Castle, alongside expanded biomes and environments from BetterNether, Nullscape, and William Wythers’ Overhauled Overworld. Combat and RPG elements include Better Combat, Immersive Armors, Spell Engine, Runes, and the Paladins & Priests series, while LevelZ and VillagerQuests add character progression and village quests. The pack also changes everyday survival with dehydration, realistic fishing and sleep, seasonal weather, and food-making additions such as Let’s Do: Bakery, Candlelight, Meadow, and Vinery. Visual and audio touches include ambient and footstep sounds, enhanced entity models and textures, physics effects, and shader support; the gallery depicts river sailing and villages at sunset and in mountain settings.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Fabric, 21 Sep 2023). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
3 files not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 226 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
5 mods send something about you
We read the code of 223 of its 225 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign that AI was used to make its mods
We found no AI use from before this release (21 Sep 2023) in the 225 mods we checked.
17 mods show AI use only from after it, so it does not apply to the versions in this pack.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
