Improves visuals without interrupting gameplay.
Finished or replaced projects get no grade: they will not get fixes or new versions.
Pixel Perfect is a Minecraft shader that refreshes the vanilla visuals while aiming to preserve gameplay readability, with three presets ranging from Vanilla+ to Vanilla+++ and extensive options for adjusting effects and image appearance. Its weather-aware wind system sends distinct gusts across foliage, with wind patterns varying by dimension and weather; grass and other plants bend in the wind, while rain changes in intensity and tilts with the gusts. Water can ripple with the wind and rise during rain or thunderstorms, while customizable rain, optional foggy weather, and lightning flashes that illuminate clouds and the surrounding world add further weather effects. The shader also offers sky and cloud enhancements, adjustable fog and water clarity, subtle block reflections, and lighting effects including estimated bounce lighting and an optional Fast GI effect. Other distinctive options include pixelated shadows, terrain outlines, objects that fade when they approach, and a printer-misalignment-like screen distortion under the invisibility effect. Color grading and mood can be tuned with controls such as contrast and white balance, and users can create and configure custom color-grading profiles using a supplied Python script.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
Changes how the game looks: 63 shader programs, for the Overworld, the Nether and the End. Draws its own shadows, water, sky, clouds and weather.
Settings in English. Has programs for Distant Horizons.
No harmful code found
We checked what is inside its files, without opening them in the game.
Why we show this: a shader cannot run programs, but its file can hide one. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade.
Sends nothing
A shader has no code that can connect to the internet, so it cannot send anything about you.
No sign that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
One weak clue: a branch is named like those GitHub Copilot creates. It does not show that the tool was used.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
