Corpse Complex is a configurable mod for shaping what happens when players die and respawn, with optional modules that can be enabled independently. Its inventory settings let players choose which categories to keep, such as armor, hotbar, mainhand, offhand, and main inventory, while also adjusting durability or energy loss and the chances that kept items are dropped or dropped items destroyed. An optional Soulbinding enchantment can save selected gear from death, with configurable levels and save chances; essential and cursed item lists can also designate items to keep or drop (or destroy). Experience settings control how much XP is lost and how much returns as generated orbs, while hunger settings govern retained food and saturation levels or set respawn food limits. The effects module can apply chosen vanilla or modded potion effects on respawn, and its customizable Memento Mori effect can modify attributes such as health, armor, attack damage, and movement speed, with options for gradual recovery. Respawning options can disable bed spawn points or provide a craftable return scroll that takes a player back to their death location. The mod also supports death-related inventory handling for Baubles, Wearable Backpacks, Cosmetic Armor Reworked, Overpowered Inventory, RPG Inventory, Thut Wearables, and Advanced Inventory, as well as keeping Tough as Nails stats such as thirst, hydration, and temperature.
Written from Modrinth and CurseForge . How we write it
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
Adds 1 item: Grave Scroll; 1 enchantment: Soulbinding.
Counted from the names and data files in the mod, so the list may not be complete.
Keeps all of vanilla Minecraft's textures, models and sounds.
No harmful code found
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
It has no file for a recent Minecraft version. This is about its files for Minecraft 1.10.2 to 1.16.5.
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
No sign so far that AI was used to make it
We looked for AI tools in its description, files, images and code history and found none.
We have not read its changelogs yet.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
