Upgrade your gear with gems that each bring a new ability.

Mythic Upgrades adds eight gem-themed gear sets that let players customize Netherite equipment with distinct abilities rather than simply higher base stats. Players explore four new biomes across three dimensions: Mythic Caves in the Overworld, Rifts in the Nether, and Barrens in the outer End, where they can find the gems and crystal formations used in crafting. Necoium mined in the Overworld is combined with gems to make ingots, which players use with a Mythic Upgrade Template at a smithing table to upgrade Netherite tools and armor; enchantments and trims are retained, and sets can later be swapped. Each gem has a matching sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, and four armor pieces, with abilities that grow stronger as more pieces of the same set are worn; mixed sets can provide multiple abilities at reduced strength. Gem geodes can generate outside the Mythic biomes, and their budding crystals grow over time; bone meal can advance their growth, while shards can be harvested for crafting or eaten to gain a temporary gem ability. The mod also adds gem ores, storage and decorative blocks, schist, and crystal building materials, with slabs, stairs, and walls available through the stonecutter. Players can brew potions for temporary access to abilities, including splash and lingering versions, and multiplayer groups can use Necoium Share to pool the strongest armor abilities of nearby linked players. Biome coverage and ability values can be adjusted in the configuration, and the world generation is designed to maintain its configured coverage alongside biome mods such as Terralith and Biomes O' Plenty.

No harmful code found
We checked its files and read their code, without running it.
Why we show this: a mod runs on your computer like any program, so harmful code in it can take your accounts or files. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: malware means no grade, and a Warning in a latest file for a recent Minecraft version lowers it.
We found nothing it sends
We read its code without running it: it contacts no web address while you play.
Why we show this: a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI was used for its code
The author declares AI code on Modrinth.
We looked for AI tools in its texts, files, images and code history and found none.
No sign of AI in the game
We found no AI service, AI library or AI model file in its code.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
