About
CottageCore Life is a modpack for a relaxed cottagecore playthrough centered on farming, animal care, cottage building, exploration, and magic. Grow expanded crops and trees, prepare food with Pam’s HarvestCraft 2, Crock Pot, and Simply Tea!, and enjoy seasonal changes with Serene Seasons. Animal-focused additions include better breeding and genetics, new creatures from Better Animals Plus, Alex’s Mobs, and Creatures and Beasts, plus horse carts, riding gear, and dog talents. Explore new landscapes through Biomes O’ Plenty and Oh The Biomes You’ll Go, with generated locations such as Jungle Villages and YUNG’s Better Mineshafts, as well as the separate Twilight Forest dimension. Build and furnish a cottage with decorative blocks, timber framing, connected textures, and furniture, windows, doors, roofs, bridges, trapdoors, and fairy lights. Magic options include Ars Nouveau, Blood Magic, Botania, and Druidcraft, while artifacts, shields, and other exploration gear add further adventure-focused equipment. Ambient touches, including dynamic surroundings and realistic horse genetics, complement the pack’s emphasis on a simple rural life.
