Quest-based progression pack through Create, Mekanism, AE2, and Ad Astra.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 215 graded mods, 171 are graded A or B, 34 C and 10 D to F. Its last update came out 2.7 years ago, for Minecraft 1.19.2. See the mods
Create 2 Mekanism is a quest-led progression modpack designed to guide players through a connected technology journey rather than leave them to choose from a kitchen-sink collection. Players begin as cave dwellers and advance through Create, Applied Energistics 2, Industrial Foregoing, and Mekanism before reaching Ad Astra and exploring space. Its 14 chapters introduce new technological possibilities step by step, with detailed quests explaining how to progress and at least one required exploration quest in each chapter. Progress depends on building more than 130 linked contraptions, automating successive components as the pack’s quests carry players toward the endgame. Exploration is supported by dungeons and structures from When Dungeons Arise, Moog’s Voyager Structures, and Moog’s End Structures, along with encounters such as Apotheosis bosses and the Wither Storm as the final boss. Apotheosis also adds gems for armor and tools and random equipment bonuses, while the pack includes artifacts to discover in the world. Other useful additions include Pipez for moving items through the middle game, Botany Pots and Botany Trees for growing crops and trees, and building options such as Macaw’s Windows and Framed Blocks.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.19.2 · Forge, 17 Feb 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 31 Jan 2024 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 214 of its 215 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 207 of its 209 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 19 of the 181 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
28 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
