A horror survival pack filled with eerie creatures and dark caves.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 110 graded mods, 96 are graded A or B, 12 C and 2 D to F. Its last update came out 9 months ago, for Minecraft 1.20.1. See the mods
From The Fog++ is a horror-focused Minecraft modpack that combines From the Fog with other mods to create an atmospheric survival experience built around mystery, exploration, and encounters with frightening creatures. Its threats include Stalkers, Dwellers, the Man from the Fog, Herobrine, and the Cave Dweller, with dark caves providing a setting for dangerous encounters. The included mods also add farming and cooking options through Farmer’s Delight, new creatures and underground biomes through Alex’s Mobs and Alex’s Caves, and unsettling surprises through The Box of Horrors.
Written from Modrinth . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Forge, 31 Jan 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 22 Nov 2025 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in the projects we checked
We checked 111 of its 112 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
6 mods send something about you
We read the code of 100 of its 101 mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 8 of the 100 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
1 mod is not checked yet.
No sign so far that AI was used to make the pack itself
We looked for AI tools in its texts and found none.
We have not read its files and images yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
