About
Gloomy Rise is an expert TechnoMagic and RPG modpack built around a challenging, multi-path progression from primitive tools through powerful magic and industrial automation to boss battles. More than 550 customized quests explain the pack’s mechanics, progression gates, and resource goals, while over 500 scripted recipe changes connect its different mods into a unified crafting progression. Players can write and customize spells, build automated resource extraction and complex crafting pipelines, and explore a dangerous world with unique structures while following an evolving storyline and facing tougher monsters and powerful bosses. Exclusive custom items support transitions between magic and technology, with progression leading toward endgame Creative-item crafting. The pack also features a redesigned main menu and user interface, refreshed textures for many popular mods, and extensively tuned configurations and scripts.
