About
Not Too Complicated is a tech-focused modpack designed to ease newer players into modded Minecraft while preserving the appeal of vanilla play, with a balanced take on the classic Tekkit style. You begin in a void-world skyblock with only a transmutation tablet and obsidian, building up EMC through ProjectE before spending about 3.3 billion EMC to open a portal to the Overworld and its Nether, End, Beneath, and space dimensions. Exploration extends beyond the starting island with additional biomes, trees, food, planets, and new building blocks from Chisel, Blockcraftery, and Xtones. Technology and automation are central: Immersive Engineering, Mekanism, Thermal, and Industrial Foregoing support factory building, while Compact Machines and RFTools offer ways to automate compactly and travel between dimensions. Tinkers' Construct reshapes tools, weapons, and armor, while bags and portable ender chests provide inventory options; the pack also streamlines metals, parts, and materials to reduce confusing duplicate ingots. Optional quests with rewards provide a progression framework, and later progression uses staged unlocks to create clearer goals across dimensions and technologies.
