Build a base, plant defenses, and survive waves of zombies.
Modpacks get no grade of their own, so we show the grades of its mods. Of its 160 graded mods, 158 are graded A or B, 2 C and none D to F. Its last update came out 5 months ago, for Minecraft 26.1.2. See the mods
Plants vs Zombies Overgrowth is a Plants vs. Zombies-focused modpack for base-building and survival, where players place plants to defend their base against zombie waves using strategy, resource management, and combat. Exploration is part of progression: its world generation adds villages, structures, and dungeons, and players explore to find and unlock new plants. Promenade, Stellarity, and Explorify contribute to world generation, while custom textures and resource packs give the world a cozier atmosphere with enhanced lighting and sound. The pack also includes performance-focused mods such as Sodium, Lithium, and FerriteCore.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 26.1.2 · Fabric, 13 May 2026). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
Compared with the release of 24 Apr 2026 for the same platform, Minecraft version and loader. We do not compare the versions of the mods yet.
No harmful code found in its projects
We checked all 162 projects and the files in the pack itself, without running them.
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
11 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 155 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 11 of the 135 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
20 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
