Utopia Origins is a vanilla-plus, semi-RPG modpack built around exploration, adventure, and a more varied world while retaining a vanilla-style feel. Its world generation combines BYG and Terralith, adding new biomes and reworking vanilla biomes, with new structures to discover alongside upgraded versions of vanilla structures. More than 700 quests offer distinct reward tables, giving players goals and rewards as they explore the pack. The pack adds armor, tools, and weapons through mods including Dragon Loot and Mythic Metals, as well as new mobs and bosses across dimensions, with examples such as Better Animals Plus, Ecologics, Adventure Z, and Promenade. The Nether and End are overhauled with new biomes, structures, and bosses, and powerful artifacts can be found in the new structures. Magic content from Bewitchment and Amethyst Imbuement lets players perform rituals, cast spells, and summon bosses. Origins++ and Origins Classes make each newly created world feel distinct through its origins and class options. Ambient audio additions, including Presence Footsteps, Sounds Physics Remastered, and Ambient Sounds 5, add sound effects and environmental atmosphere to journeys through the world.
Written from CurseForge . How we write it
The mods of its newest release (Minecraft 1.20.1 · Fabric, 24 May 2024). Each check result is for the latest files of that mod, which may not be the version in this pack.
1 file not listed: no matching project found.
No harmful code found in the mods we checked
We checked all 278 mods, without running them.
We have not checked the files in the pack itself yet (settings, scripts).
Why we show this: a modpack installs the files of its mods, and each mod runs on your computer like any program. Our checks look for known signs of harm. They cannot prove that a file is harmless. In the grade: a modpack has no grade of its own, and each mod's result counts in that mod's grade.
13 mods send something about you
We read the code of all 278 of its mods, without running it.
Why we show this: a modpack runs the code of its mods, and a mod can send things about you over the internet, like your player name or your login. Contacting an address to check for updates or download files sends nothing about you. Not in the grade: sending data can be normal for what a mod does.
AI used in 21 of the 232 mods we checked
We found an AI tool in them, or their authors declared AI content.
46 mods are not checked yet.
Made with AI: not checked yet
We have not looked for AI tools in the pack itself yet.
Why we show this: some players and servers avoid projects made with AI, and AI in the game can send what you write to an online service. Not in the grade: using AI does not tell whether a project works well or is kept up to date.
